Stanley Jones Design
Architectural and Interior

""Stanley guided us seamlessly through the planning and building regulation stages, making the process stress-free. He also provided beautiful visuals that helped us clearly envision the project.""
Mrs Elen PRitchard, Ynys Mon.
At FITCH design agency, our process always began with a clean slate - a blank canvas that allowed us to determine the overall style of the space. From there, we would carefully sculpt and add features to elevate the beauty of simple forms and materials. If needed, we could then embellish these elements further to achieve the desired result - below is the concept animation of the stair design.

"Stan was a pleasure to work with. His expertise and design skills were invaluable in bringing my project vision to life. He remained available and supportive throughout the entire process."
Mr P.Papanichola, Dyke Close, Hove

Dyke Close was built between 1931 and 1937 and adopts an Arts and Crafts style.
The proposed reflects the original Architectural design matching the finishes and materials and returning the windows to a 1930's crittal style throughout with recon stone features and plain tile cladding. The extension to the rear does not enlarge the profile from the front and retains the roofline extending into the garden with two symmetrical hip roofs in keeping with the original house.
"We faced a complex planning application involving rights of light, followed by the technical challenge of preserving the existing structure while constructing a new floor and basement. Stan delivered an innovative, visually appealing design along with a comprehensive technical package to meet our needs." Mr D.Morra, Morley Street
FEATURED PROJECTS
Originally a 1930’s car showroom it was converted into a nightclub “the kings club” and later to the “the ocean rooms” its large concrete frame supporting 3 floors. We identified the possibility of retaining the structure and adding a floor and roof terrace while opening up the front facade with a new Crittal window frontage. This allowed for a massive reduction in carbon footprint and waste minimization from demolition and allowed the internal works to commence immediately. We received planning permission despite a tricky urban overshadowing situation and added an extra story and roof terrace. A new structural frame connected to the existing concrete frame propping the floors and allowing the front facade to be opened up with full height glazing on every floor with the basement being extended down and waterproofed.
Now at the fit-out stage, it has flexible office use with a coffee shop use on the ground floor.

"I’ve collaborated with Stan on various projects, from housing estates to simple house renovations, and he has always been professional and reliable. His experience makes him an excellent asset for any project." Mr B.Stevenson, Property developer, Brighton and Deal, Kent.
